Editor panel
History
History is the record of every save this demo has had. Edits are grouped into editing sessions — one person, one sitting — under the day they happened, so you can find the moment something changed rather than scrolling a flat list. Opening a session shows the individual saves inside it, and an owner or admin can restore any of them.
Rows
- Current version
- The draft as it stands right now — what viewers see once you publish. Everything below it is older.
- Day heading
- Today, Yesterday or the date, with the people who edited that day shown on the right.
- Session row
- One person's editing sitting, labelled with the time it spans. Click it to reveal the saves inside.
- Save
- One saved revision: the time, who made it, and how many changes it carried.
- Restore
- In a save's menu. Puts the demo back to that revision as a NEW revision, so nothing in the history is lost. Owners and admins only.
Tips
- Restoring never deletes history — it adds a revision, so you can undo a restore by restoring what came before it.
- Sessions break when the editor is quiet for a while, so a long afternoon of work reads as a few sittings rather than one block.
- Publishing is separate from saving: restoring changes the draft, and viewers keep seeing the published version until you publish again.
