Step
Step information holds the content of the selected step — its title and description, the media it shows, how the player zooms and transitions into it, and any capture details. It is the per-step counterpart to the demo-wide Design and Browser panels.
Rows
- Info — Title
- The step title shown in the step list and, depending on the guide, to the viewer.
- Info — description
- The instruction text that tells the viewer what to do on this step.
- Media display / Media / Fit / Frame / Frame background
- How the step's screenshot or image is framed and fitted in the player.
- Auto-Zoom / Zoom to clicked element / Zoom level / Show zoomed crop
- Whether and how far the player zooms into the clicked target on this step.
- Zoom & pan / Zoom Preview
- Fine control and a live preview of the zoom-and-pan motion for the step.
- Transition / Transition type / Video transition
- The animated transition the player uses when entering this step.
- Video — Playback / Playback speed / Autoplay / Mute by default / Autoplay seconds
- Playback behavior when the step is a video capture.
- Link — Step link label / Step link URL
- An optional outbound link surfaced on the step for the viewer.
- AI text
- AI-generated step copy you can accept or edit into the title/description.
- Capture info / Export
- Metadata about how the step was captured and options to export it.
Tips
- Write the description as a short instruction — it is the sentence the viewer reads before acting.
- Auto-Zoom keeps small UI targets legible; preview it with Zoom Preview before publishing.
- Presenter-only guidance that viewers should not see belongs in Presenter notes, not the description.
